Lebenswelt

Lebenswelt means lifeworld, a term introduced by Edmund Husserl, father of phenomenology. We all understand the world in our own way, we all live in a world of our own, according to our perceptions. A ‘world’ for each one of us is a challenge. This performance is a composition of duets between the live and the pre-recorded video choreography projected on a a set that changes configurations. It discusses the ability of perceiving the other person’s point of view: being in the same frame for each other, being on time so to see the other person’s need or desire. The world and the sense of self are phenomena in an ongoing becoming. But, without a common ground of which or who’s reality is the one in question, they begin to doubt themselves, their understanding of the world  and of each other; trying to learn how to live with this doubt and find a new equilibrium.
